I bought this TV somewhere else but I thought I'd offer my experience because I'm primarily using this as a computer monitor. I'm running it on an ATI video card. At first I wasn't getting sharp text and the window didn't fill in the entire screen but had a 1" border around it. I used the ATI CCC driver to make an adjustment in "My Digital Flat Panels/Scalling Options set to 100%. That fixed the problem. All other aspects of the monitor, including movies and color renditions are excellent. I at first thought that the speakers were a little weak but it turned out that the Youtube video was at fault. Sound is exceptionally good for TV speakers and I'm not using my desktop speakers as a result. I don't do gaming but at 60Hz don't expect it to render like my 240 Hz main TV and I did notice a noticeable blurring in some videos that I tested.

All in all I'm happy with this monitor for computer use and would recommend it.

This was my first flat screen TV! Before I began I didn't even know what LED meant. I chose this Vizio 32 inch model after weeks of research and I'm glad I did. Don't let its simple look fool you. I was going to go with the Vizio XVT323SV model with internet apps, but didn't think I needed all that even though I use this TV mostly for gaming, Netflix movies and DVD's.

Let me start out by saying the picture is fantastic! A friend of mine was here when I turned it on and the game was crystal clear. We both exclaimed - 'Wow!'. There are so many options on the menu to adjust the color and picture but the best setting is 'Retail' because the colors really pop. You can also customize the picture settings. The sound however is nothing to brag about no matter what setting you chose. However, I have it hooked up to a home theater system and it sounds awesome! I also couldn't get the audio jacks on the side to work and had to plug in using the headphones jack but there are so many options to connect various devices it didn't matter!

There are 3 HDMI outlets and I use 2 of them, one for my laptop for online Netflix and one for my Desktop PC for gaming. I was really worried about the 60hz refresh rate and thought there might be lag or blurry visuals but everything is once again crystal clear and no lag whatsoever other than what's caused by my video card. :P

The remote works well even though it has one of those shiny faces and really pics up dust and fingerprints but who cares - it's a remote and works well at any angle. The Vizio logo lights up white when on and orange when its off. An odd color but I think it looks cool.

All in all, I saved about 100 bucks over the XVT323SV model and you can get this TV at Sam's for 350 dollars. Not to mention, even boxed its very light and I had no trouble carrying it upstairs by myself.

So if your looking for a basic inexpensive flat screen, this is it! The only advice I have is don't clean it with paper towels!!! I did that and it scratched the finish. Use a microfiber cloth and a good glass cleaner. Also if you plan to wall mount like I did, get the Cheeta mount for around 23 dollars at Amazon. I'm really pleased I got this. :)

VIZIO E321MV Only 32" set I could find that had usable speakers.
As many have found, the questionable race to make the thinnest tv set has a major casualty: the internal speakers. While I'm perfectly happy having a set thats 3-5" thick, you cant put a decent speaker in a 1-2" set. I discovered this when I bought a beautiful looking 60" set that had thin speakers pointing down from the bottom of the set. Unless I planned to lay under the tv while watching it, I couldnt even coax enough volume out of the set to drown out the dishwasher in the kitchen.

So with that in mind, when my sons bedroom tv started making "The Hum Of Impending Death", I went looking for a 32" replacement. My desired features were an LED set so I dont have to get as annoyed when he leaves it on, 1080p so it could be used as a computer monitor or for some other high definition gui based device down the road, a good picture, good enough internal speakers to not require a sound bar, and as far under $400 as I could get it.

I spent 3 days touring every place that sells tv's, and checking online reviews of sets compatible with those requirements. I couldnt find a set in the stores that didnt have low volume, tinny, kazoo like speakers. Not even at higher price points than I wanted to go. I even tried 37 and 40" sets hoping the larger size would net me better sound, but had no luck with those either.

I did come across this one set, which is sold widely under slightly different model numbers. Look for a Vizio with an all black case, no silver speaker grills, and no front mounted speaker grills, 32", LED, 1080p, and you'll find one of the many variants of this television.

The internal speakers actually have a little bit of bass, nice volume levels - it can get to loud in a small room, great picture quality, eleven bucks a year to run if you get 12c/KWH electricity and use it 5 hours a day, a nice remote control and lots of useful settings. It also has an ambient light sensor that turns up the brightness in a bright sunlit room and down in a dark room. Thats a nice feature that I'm going to want on all my sets in the future.

After looking at a hundred sets in two days, this is the one to get. I honestly couldnt even find a set with worthwhile speakers for under $400 even if I dropped the LED and 1080p requirements. The (admittedly less expensive) cfl lit 720 sets also had horrible speakers.

Some day someone has to explain to me why a tv thats 1" thick is so much better than one thats 2 inches thick. Or what exactly you're going to do with that tiny little space that the tv used to sit in that requires you to spend $200 to screw it onto a wall. All of my tv's have dvr's, blu-ray players, game consoles and other stuff that has to sit in some kind of cabinet near the television anyhow. I guess I'm just not as cramped for room space as everyone else is.

From initial startup this set has been excellent providing a great picture in the 32" LED LCD format. Movement from channel to channel is nearly instant (no delay). Compared to LG, Panasonic, Sony, Samsung, and Toshiba the clarity and quality of the picture was right on. My input connection choice is HDMI (choices include 3-HDMIs, IRF/Coaxial, component, composite, and RGB (with PC audio input). The controller is easy to navigate and Vizio's built-in software provides all the flexibility one needs to make quick changes. Sound is surprisingly good for the design (and better if you turn OFF the SRS TruSound HD). The latter would be good in an external speaker system. My system exists in an AT&T U-verse setup and the U-verse hand controller mft code 1018 (found online) works great. Codes provided by U-verse for Vizio (1429, 1433, & 1439) did not work. Using U-verse's 922 for automatic setup worked for everything but the mute button. Again, the code 1018 found online works great for these Vizio's in the U-verse setup, including mute. Recommended LED LCD.

Great TV overall. TV install and setup were very simple. I only use Antenna reception. I didn't require assistance from anyone even when attaching Apple TV or my dvd player. A little disappointed the remote doesn't have a one time push button to go from dvd back to tv in one step; also when changing channels you cannot hold down the button and it cycle thru to the channel you want; instead you have to press the button again and again or just press the channel numbers. Also when you press the info button the titles are too small to read and i'm sitting in a small room. The slight channel delay when changing channels is at first annoying but you get use to it then you don't notice. COLOR and imaging are fantastic! Sound is good but i've ordered a sound bar just for the fun of it.
